Organize Your Business Legally

By this point in the course you’ve not only conceptualized a marketing strategy for your new business, but your new company also has a fully-functioning marketing support system, including your business identity, business cards, website, email marketing account and social media profiles.

During this planning week you begin to shift gears by starting the first of four weeks of decision-making and task completion to professionally organize your business – legally, financially and operationally.

This week:

1. You select a business name to use for legal purposes.
2. With the help of the VI Support Team you will complete legal registration of a Limited Liability Company (LLC) and acquire  a Federal Employee Identification Number (when required).
3. You examine any additional legal assistance you require, such as the creation of a customer contract.
